Name Badges

The Board Policy is that a U3A Dunedin supplied name badge is to be worn at all U3A Dunedin events

Parking

Golf club car park: PLEASE be very careful when driving through the car parks at the Golf Club and follow the arrows to avoid head-on confrontations.

Leith Valley is a popular parking spot for people who used to park on the road now taken over by the cycle way. That doesn’t leave a lot of spaces for U3A — especially for our big courses. You can help the situation by car pooling. People who park on the clearway, opposite the Bowling Club, will likely be ticketed by DCC.

Cancellations

In the event of a cancellation/postponement:

  • A notice of any postponement will be on the U3A Home Page.
  • All people with an e-mail address will be sent a message via e-mail to advise.
  • In the event of a morning cancellation, an e-mail will be sent by 8am.
  • In the event of an afternoon cancellation, an e-mail will be sent by 10.30am.
  • People with no e-mail will receive a phone call from the Course Convenor or Assistant.
  • People with no e-mail should listen to The Breeze (98.2FM), Radio Dunedin (99.8FM), and More FM (97.4FM) for details.

These details are normally read out at the first lecture in each session.
